Rama worked on an interdisciplinary project that I led to develop a sensor for SARS-CoV-2 in the air in Sep-Dec 2022. He applied computer vision and machine learning techniques to read Covid-19 rapid tests (lateral flow assays) and try to improve sensitivity. He completed all assigned tasks in a timely manner and produced a well-organized report describing his efforts and accomplishments.

Rama Krishna is an excellent, results-oriented employee and a pleasure to manage. He started working with us on existing AI project, but quickly transitioned into leading the development charge on a new LiDAR based project and had to build new skills around 3D visualization. He rose to the challenge and pursued building those skills independently. I have never met anyone else who communicated so concisely about the work he performed and the challenges he encountered. I walked away from our meetings feeling as if I knew as much as I would if I had done the work myself. He took suggestions I made and ran with them, being communicative when there were issues. He's a great asset on our team, technically proficient, and very professional.

Ram worked in our research group for almost 2 years. During that time, I had the pleasure of supervising him on various tasks. He was instrumental in the development of our deep-learning based image editing prototype. Specifically, he was our go-to guy for GAN inversion. Not only was he a proactive, studious, and capable engineer, but he was also an effective communicator and a team player. I have no doubts that he will be a great addition to any engineering team. If an opportunity arises, I would definitely welcome a chance to work with him again.
